March 27 Retro Video Game jam UPDATED

Everything old is new again, as I am reminded when I shop and hear resynthesized versions of music that shaped the world. Ok and 80s hits too, but they don't need too much re-synthing lol.

Last jam we explored the idea of Retro Video Games. This was fun and also posed the question, when does a game become retro? Is a current game's iteration ok to use in the comic if it was once an old game? Since we are pretty laid back about such things everyone said 'Ok!'. I am surprised Pong didn't turn up here.. but there is a little Breakout panel, so I'm happy.

Thanks to the talented artists and writers who joined in last month for a swell jam:  Suzanne Marsden, Clayton Jacobs, Ifer Jean, Andrew Stutt, Liz Walsh, James Rule, C.D. Rudd, Scott MacLellan and Gérard Bélec.

Thanks to the Shanghai Restaurant for continuing to provide a safe, creative space to gather and make comics. You are the best!
